Exploring Jakarta (part 1)

As a big city, Jakarta is known by its crowd and traffic jam. Besides that, Jakarta is also known as a crowd city as a centre of government and business. But, can you count how many tourism places in Jakarta?
Yeah, perhaps it’s only a few.
But as for me, Jakarta is rich of the history. Jakarta is also creative. There’s so many interesting tourism places that you can visit.

I live in South Jakarta during studying medicine. As a student, my routine is only studying or joining organization. But when I had one day off, I wondered if there’s a good place to visit in South Jakarta. So, my friend and I considered to explore some places in South Jakarta.

Hospitalis Café
It’s located in Kebayoran Baru. Well, you may imagine how unique the place is. The place looked like a hospital. It’s kinda crazy. For the first time, I thought that it was kinda creepy that I saw a man drank blood transfusion. I mean, eww..
“eww” was my first impression. But then I realized that it was not a real blood. A waiter came to us and explained their best food and beverages. So, I encouraged myself to stay and try some menu.
Well, it tasted good! You have to order that weird beverage.

Well, I don't know what kind of fluid resuscitation is this
Aulia enjoyed the 'blood transfusion like' beverage
Hahaha

Museum Layang-Layang (Kite Museum)
It’s located in Pondok Labu. When my friend and I went back to our dormitory, we were trapped in a traffic jam, so we decided to visit the museum. That was the first time for us visiting the museum. It’s a unique place.
Just by paying Rp.10,000,-, you can watch movie, join the museum tour, and learn how to make a kite. I was amazed by the kites from all around Indonesia. It was amazing that kite can be made from paper, plastics, fabric, and even leaves. And kite’s not only shaped in 2 dimension, but also 3 dimension, like shape of bird, house, dragon, etc. Then I learned how to make a kite and then I asked the tour guide to teach me how to fly a kite. Yeah!
